Absolutely. This is the first ever LGBT film to win this award which is a massive achievement, especially alongside Ali’s Supporting actor win making him the first ever Muslim winner. And in case you’ve been living under a rock, the absolute mega gaffe that came when the wrong card was given out to presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway causing the biggest mistake of all Oscar history and the biggest audience cringe of all time, makes us even happier that they won.

Who did they beat?

Arrival, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Hidden Figures, Lion, Manchester by the Sea, oh and La La Land.
